Our Story
Hi, I’m Lubna, the founder and baker behind Beyond Bakes by Lubz.
Before Beyond Bakes, there was Creative Cakes by Lubz — a home-based cake business born from my love of recreating the Pakistani-style cakes and desserts my husband and I grew up with and deeply missed after moving away from home.
I am a completely self-taught baker. What began as a simple desire to bring back the flavors of family celebrations, special occasions, and everyday memories turned into years of experimenting, learning, failing, and trying again. After countless batches, I finally found the flavors and textures I had been searching for. Soon, family and friends began asking for those same desserts, and Creative Cakes by Lubz was born.
For years, I poured my heart into creating cakes that connected people to cherished memories, traditions, and the flavors they missed. At the same time, as a mom, I was already navigating food allergies in my own family and learning how difficult it can be to find desserts that feel safe, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable.
That experience slowly shaped the next chapter of my baking journey — Beyond Bakes by Lubz.
Why Beyond Bakes Exists
As a mom, I have already experienced how hard it can be to find allergy-friendly options for your child. Now, going through this personally, I understand that feeling even more deeply. I know how frustrating it can be to read every label, question every ingredient, and still wonder if something will be safe. Beyond Bakes by Lubz was created from that experience and from a simple belief: people with food allergies and dietary restrictions deserve baked goods that are just as delicious, comforting, and satisfying as traditional ones.

Today, my focus is creating baked goods that are gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, soy- free, seed oil-free, sesame-free, gum-free, free from artificial sweeteners, and made without preservatives.
At Beyond Bakes by Lubz, quality begins with the ingredients. I use clean, halal ingredients and choose certified organic and non-GMO ingredients, because I believe what goes into each recipe matters just as much as how it tastes.
Every product is made with care, intention, and the same patience and determination that started my baking journey years ago. I never compromise on quality, because my goal is to create baked goods that feel safe, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable.
